Update Incoming!
As of July 6, 2025, we’re hard at work integrating a martial arts system into Prosperon’s hand-to-hand combat mechanics.
Currently, unarmed attacks deal a base damage of 2 (Which is not currently in the corerulebook so thats still unofficial) . Once this system goes live, damage will increase to:
- 3 damage for first-level martial art Diversity Tag training
- 4 damage for second-level Diversity Tag mastery
- The Good thing about using a diversity tag to take this cool combat skill is you get some cool passive bonues and you don’t have to worry about losing your weapon, because you are the weapon. True, weapons generally do more damage though.
July 8th 2025 Update: It’s official—we’ve wrapped up the hand-to-hand combat rules and specializations!
July 30th 2025 Update: It’s a wrap on the latest case files: The Osiris Agency. Dive deeper into this enigmatic organization and the threat it poses to Vanguard Inscribers who don’t play by the rules. Enough syntax bleeds, and you might just find yourself staring down an Osiris A.R.M.A. kill team—or worse.
This latest update adds a whole new layer to the game. We’re closing in on final layout, and Prosperon’s core book is nearly complete
Thanks for sticking with us through the slower rollout—between full-time work and overtime, updates haven’t been as frequent, but we’re pouring every spare moment into refining this world. Your support means everything, and we hope you enjoy what’s new!

We’ve added a new Weakness & Advantage system—letting players take an advantage and a weakness—to deepen gameplay without adding to much complexity. Though we keep refining things, it’s all to ensure a rich experience packed with mechanics, lore, GM tools, and now detailed bookmarks for easy navigation. Thanks so much to everyone who’s supported us—feel free to share the game with someone who might love it too!

Were trying to make sure we keep our promise to make sure that we bring you the game you deserve. We are a two person team, just my wife and I. This book started as early access project months ago and it’s only grown since then. And of course, my wonderful wife will be back on the art when she’s able as she works so much, but we’re getting there. Thank you to everyone who’s stuck with us this far. We appreciate you all. Wishing you a blessed day on this fine morning
Update Octorber 8th 2025: We’ve just implemented the lightweight hacking system, which uses the same core rolling mechanics as other skills—with a few subtle but important differences. We’ve also added a curated hack list that players can earn through milestones or loot, depending on their GM. We hope you enjoy the new changes!
Update October 18th 2025: With this latest update, we’ve made minor balance adjustments to several weapons and introduced flanking mechanics for those who prefer grid-based play. These flanking rules are also compatible with theater-of-the-mind gameplay, which remains the original and intended way to experience the game. We hope you enjoy the new and improved game. The Prosperon System is designed to be more narrative-driven, but it’s also semi-modular—meaning we offer optional rules and mechanics that can be disregarded entirely to create a more lightweight experience.
Update October 26th 2025: We’ve listened to feedback from many of you game owners, and we’re excited to announce a few updates! There’s now an updated How to Create a Character section, along with a new optional points-based leveling system called the EDGE POINT System, which you can use instead of the Milestone system.

Update February, 20th, 2026 We’ve updated the book with a new optional damage mechanic that lets players choose between static damage or rolling dynamically for a chance to double it. Critical successes double damage, semi‑critical successes deal one‑and‑a‑half times damage, and semi successes halve damage, with throwables using constant damage but relying on a physical roll to determine how many enemies are caught in the AOE. GMs can decide whether NPCs always roll dynamically or use the same choice system as players, adding flexibility and extra lethality. Prosperon remains fully modular-use what you like and toss the rest.
Update February, 21st, 2026 We’ve settled on a front cover design created by my wife, Debra. We wanted to give you a glimpse of Arco Prime on the cover, since it fits the cyberpunk theme much better than our previous, more traditional sci‑fi design
